“Dear Chris, Loric and Keith: For some time we had been considering glamour shots, but had always been somewhat nervous about the kind of establishment which might be running them and would they really be professional or somewhat seedy… After a lot of research I decided to surprise my wife with a voucher for her birthday and to take the plunge with Studio X.
We are both pleased to say what a fantastic and fun experience it was, and the photos have turned out so much better than we had ever anticipated.
When my wife received her gift she was very nervous about the idea of it but was also excited about the prospect. After our planning session with Chris & Loric and us booking a date we could not wait for the day.
We had a great day with the photo shoot. We had started off with the intention of it being fairly reserved and not really venturing into the nude shots, but within a very short period of time she had relaxed to the point of being very comfortable to go completely nude. Chris and Loric were exceptionally professional, able to show the results of the photos immediately and the settings and lighting were fantastic.
We were both exceptionally happy with the resulting photos and several of them even take pride in our home. Nude photography can be exceptionally flattering when presented correctly and Chris/Loric and Keith can certainly do that.
Thanks for recommending & arranging the hair and makeup artist, certainly worth doing prior to the shoot. We have no hesitation in highly recommending Studio-X Photography and would encourage you to not look past them, a fun day with fantastic results!

"Dear Loric & Chris When I started off looking into Boudoir photography I did a lot of homework on different photographers and their work. Although I could find various other photographers promoting their work I kept going back to StudioX’s website. I knew that I wanted them done but was unsure if I could go through with it.
I ran the idea around a couple of good friends and after I showed them the website, all of them agreed that I should have them done at Studio X. I was still a little scared but sent my email off anyway. The next day Chris contacted me and immediately I felt at ease.
I booked a date for the first interview, and went alone, not sure how hubby was going to take this whole “I want to do this” episode. I met with Loric and Chris and immediately felt as if we had known one another for years – and I don’t trust easily ;). This was just like talking to old friends, running some crazy ideas by them, and them telling you that you will be fine – and you believing them, no funny sale gimmicks or stuff!
I felt so at home I immediately booked my appointment, rushed home and ran it by hubby, he was sceptical ;). I requested him to look at the website – and to my surprise– he wanted to come with me, just to watch! I was so surprised.
I confirmed with Chris and met the day of my appointment –there were no butterflies or nervousness – this was like friends taking pictures at a party – the poses were great and between Chris and Loric, they knew exactly what I wanted, and even hubby decided there and then, he wanted to be in a couple of them too! They immediately agreed to do some more.
Hundreds of photographs later we had to decide – this was the hard part! I wanted them all!!! At the end we ended up taking more then we agreed on before, hubby insisting on having his, making my job easier insisting on some that I wanted.
Longest weeks of my life followed – waiting for the final product – and good grief was I surprised, there we were – just better! We were still ourselves though, and I could with all of my heart happily post them on my Face Book page.... I am perfect in my imperfections, secure in my insecurities, happy in my pain, strong in my weaknesses, and beautiful in my own way...I am "myself"....and I proved it.
Loric, Chris and Keith (behind the scenes), you made my dream come true, and I do believe (as my favourite bracelet reads) that years from today I will look back with gratitude, happiness and amazement of what we accomplished.

"Getting close to 40 I decided it's time to go ahead with something I have always wanted yet failed to do: getting nude photos done! After stumbling on a couple of, let’s just say, not so trust inspiring photographers who do erotic/ nude photography, I found the gem Studio X in an internet search. My voice message was returned on the same day by a friendly and warm voice (Chris’s), and I had an appointment for the following day to meet the team.
Loric and Chris were so welcoming, giving me a lot of space to talk and elaborate on what I wanted done and listened intently. You’d never think they do this on a daily basis. Their approach was as fresh as how green I was in nude photography.
We had our photos session about a week later. Chris and Loric made me feel so at ease that I was walking around in my birthday suit in the studio all day. They are a great complement to each other as a team, working together to bring out the best results, and open to spontaneous suggestions (and I had plenty of those). The viewing to select the photos was tough because Loric really knows how to capture and show the best of a woman’s body. Needless to say, I felt extremely attractive by the end of the day!
The photos were to be ready in about 20 days’ time, which means I would barely make it to present them as a gift to my partner on his birthday. Chris rang me in half that time to tell me they were ready though and I could go to view and pick them up! That’s when I met Keith, the master retoucher, who made me look in the photos like a million bucks but still it was 100% me. Nothing in the photos seemed contrived, and each photo is a classy piece of art which I will have for the rest of time to treasure and enjoy looking at and showing to my envious girlfriends.
I enjoyed myself so much and felt I was among friends. A major reason for this however is that Chris, Loric and Keith are true professionals whose artistry and discreetness you can trust. My partner who spends most of his time overseas loved the photos and his Xmas gift for me is that he will “definitely come home for Xmas”! Only problem is… I prefer that his gift to me is another photos session and portfolio at Studio X!

“It was REALLY hard to put into words how this whole experience was for me. I couldn't find the right words that expressed the depth of it – the feeling side of it all.
The final photos are AWESOME – the more I look at them the more I love them and I still find it hard to believe they are really me. You guys managed to capture so many different ‘sides’ of me and in a way this has helped me to be less judgemental of myself, I can now accept that I am unique & different and that it’s a blessing not a curse! It is a pity that ALL women do not take the opportunity to do this. Not just so they can see that they are physically beautiful but also to lift their self-image and self-esteem, especially in younger women/teenagers – it would change their lives.
